National Resources
NORML – National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws
A leading voice in cannabis advocacy since 1970, NORML works to reform marijuana laws at the local, state, and federal levels. Through grassroots organizing, legal education, and policy change, they empower citizens to take action and stay informed about evolving legislation.
Last Prisoner Project
Dedicated to cannabis justice reform, the Last Prisoner Project fights to release and rebuild the lives of those incarcerated for cannabis-related offenses. Their work spans clemency campaigns, reentry support, and public education — all rooted in the belief that no one should remain imprisoned for a plant that is now legal in much of the country.
Illinois Resources
The Cole Memo
The Cole Memo is a cannabis media project offering critical, in-depth coverage of cannabis culture, policy, and reform in Illinois and beyond. Through thoughtful journalism, interviews, and commentary, it explores the real-world impacts of legalization and social equity efforts. A valuable resource for staying informed and engaging with the evolving cannabis conversation.
Cannabis Equity Illinois Coalition
The Cannabis Equity Illinois Coalition is a grassroots organization working to ensure that cannabis legalization in Illinois centers equity, justice, and community reinvestment. Through advocacy, education, and organizing, they fight for policies that repair the harms of the War on Drugs and create real opportunities for those most impacted.
"Change starts with knowledge, grows with action, and thrives through community. Thank you for standing with us — together we will keep moving forward and making change."
